Question. Whiskey in the Jaro.

I am not arguing his ability as a bass player as I know he was a great bass player but not so long ago Ronan Collins an Irish DJ put to his listeners for debate was Philip playing bass on this track.

And also who played Mandolin on this track?

The deep sounds you hear on Whiskey In The Jar, or, indeed, simply an acoustic guitar.
That's weird, 'cause I have seen video of that song and Phil is playin' bass in that video. Big Grin Strange!
not really strange....its mimed and he is seen playing the bass guitar simply for effect
