And we will raise them again this Saturday night in Eamonn Dorans.

A belated Happy Birthday to Phil and a Big Thank you to everyone at Roisin Dubh for a lovely evening at Dorans.
It was great to hear Renegade and King's Vengeance. And although we missed Jimmy Coup at Eamonn's, it was lovely to hear him sing acoustic back at the hotel... rather early in the morning.

Thank you also to Philomena for her warm welcome and knowledgeable speech on the perils of drugs.
'Great to see Smilley in great form and looking well!
Well done also, Peder for having the confidence to sing 'Gotta give it up'!!
When we arrived at the North Star we were amused by the sound of trains overhead (in reception) which made us laugh and think of the Blues Bro's famous line Jake: "How often does the train go by?" Elwood: "So often that you won't even notice it."
Saying that, the service was great and reasonably priced... so thanks to Dawn and Graham for organising everyone's accommodation.
We also had fun waving at the choo choo (steam) train the next morning from the balcony.[/font]
Dorans was an education... haha I've seen many themed Irish pubs in London painted nicotine yellow, but the toilets were something else. Ah, the venue had good sound quality; which is the most important thing.
I apologise if I sound dismissive, but I'm just relaying what made me smile, but I say from my heart that it was a thoroughly great night (and morning)

Everyone was very friendly and we certainly did raise our glasses to Phil's talents and birth.
PS Thanks also to Roddy for telling me about it all.
